Colin O has been piercing since August 2009, starting with an apprenticeship at Evolved Body Art in Columbus, Ohio. Over the years he developed a sharp focus on freehand and disposable techniques, building a career on technical precision and client comfort.

He spent nearly a decade at Laughing Buddha Seattle, where his work helped build the studio's reputation as one of the most respected in the country. In spring 2026, Colin co-founded Facet and Form alongside two fellow Laughing Buddha veterans, an independently owned studio built on their shared commitment to integrity, and to a shared vision of what the body art industry should be.

His work has taken him well beyond Seattle. Colin has guest pierced at studios across the country, including:

Colin is also an active educator on the international stage. He has taught at the APP Conference in Las Vegas, APPE in Spain, and GEP in Brazil, and delivered a digital presentation for Pro Piercers League Portugal, sharing his techniques and standards with piercers across multiple continents. He's a member of the Association of Professional Piercers (APP), and organizes regional meet-ups for piercers across the Pacific Northwest.
