Designed by BVLA (Body Vision Los Angeles), the Maeve Hinge Ring is a luminous, gemstone-forward design that blends elongated marquise silhouettes with refined diamond accents. Crafted in solid 14k rose gold, this 16 gauge, 5/16” diameter hinge ring features a carefully balanced composition that emphasizes movement, symmetry, and light play.
The design showcases nine 3 × 1.5mm faceted Rainbow Moonstone marquise stones, each secured in marquise prong settings that highlight their elongated shape and soft iridescence. Accenting the marquise layout are two 1mm VS white diamonds, set in round prongs to introduce contrast, sparkle, and subtle rhythm throughout the piece.

We use ethically sourced stones set with prongs or bezel. Hard gems (diamond/sapphire) are everyday-ready; softer/porous stones (opal, turquoise, pearl, emerald) need gentler care (see cleaning).
Fit & wear
Choose sizes recommended by your piercer. For threadless ends, a slight bend in the pin creates tension; check security weekly. Hinged and seam rings are delicate—open with a twist (never pull apart).
Care & cleaning
- Daily: rinse after showers/working out; pat dry.
- Routine clean: mild soap + soft brush, then rinse and dry.
- Avoid: chlorine pools/hot tubs, harsh chemicals, ultrasonic cleaners for opal, turquoise, pearl, emerald.
